Meet our Evangelism and Outreach Director, Jerry Chalk. Jerry has been a minister of the gospel for over 30 years. In 1994, he answered a call to ministry and was licensed with the Church of God of Prophecy. In 1995, he went on his first mission trip to Ukraine and saw more people saved than he had in his whole life, along with genuine miracles of healing.
In 1996, just after graduating High School, he went on what was thought to be a 6-month short-term mission outreach, which turned into 17 years. Jerry served as a missionary, pastor, and Evangelist and was part of planting hundreds of churches in Ukraine, leading thousands to come to know Christ. Several orphanages and drug rehabilitation centers were established. The Missions Ministry of the church was established, trained, and led mission teams throughout Ukraine and surrounding nations.
In 2008, God blessed him with an incredible son, Danny Chalk, who was born in Ukraine. After 17 years of missions ministry, God called his family to return to the United States and to serve and reach North America with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2013, Jerry became the Outreach Pastor of River Church and served on staff with Pastor Barry Smith. In 2014, Jerry was part of a Church plant that established a second campus in Lebanon, TN. Shortly after the church plant, God blessed his family with the cutest princess, Lillian Chalk. In January of 2018, the Chalk family answered the call to be part of seeing the Great Commission fulfilled by reaching out to North America and traveling to the Nations to train frontline shepherds, plant churches, engage in strategic evangelism, and impart encouragement and motivation to the body of Christ.
In December of 2025, Jerry married his loving wife, Reverend Kathleen, in Cincinnati, OH. Together, they have a heart and a vision to see the world changed by the power of the Gospel.
Reverend Jerry is excited to be serving with World Outpouring Missions as an extension to reach the world for Christ. Jerry’s favorite hobby is experiencing life with his family. He loves to see God’s blessing on their lives and witness Danny and Lillian growing way too fast.
